Round 4 of chapter 3

Wednesday January 26

Today was another day at Chemo.  Things have been going really well during this Maintenance work.  We have been so blessed.  Cody has been felling really well this past week.  After the move he has been able to let go of some stress and relax a little more.  We have been able to meat some of the most amazing people during our treatments.

Cody's tumor counts have been staying in the mid 3 range.  Which is wonderful!  Anything below 5 is in the normal range.  It has been jumping around between 3.2 to 3.8  which is completely normal.  His blood levels have been staying normal also.  Nothing has been in the red for the past 2 treatments.  We couldn't ask for better health considering everything he is going through.
We just want to tank everyone for all your thoughts and prayers.  They are definitely felt.  We are so grateful to everyone.

Round 3 of Chapter 3

Wednesday January 12

Well we are back to Wednesdays again YEAH!  It was kind of a different crowd on Mondays it just didn't feel like our regular chemo family.  You begin to form a family between everyone there and we were a little lonely with out our regulars.

Cody was a little on the tired side coming into this treatment.  I think with getting ready for the move all week he has worn his body down.  He was looking forward to today to just be able to sit and relax while he was hooked up to an IV.

He was craving his wonderful Blimpie sandwhich.  Luckily it was right across the road from the hospital.

Since he went through all his John Wayne movies he hasn't wanted to watch many others.  His mom came across this magazine on John Wayne and let him take it to read.  It did help him by pass the time, but he really slept for most of the time.

This Round has been I believe the hardest one yet for Cody.  I don't know if it was from all the stress of the move and not being able to rest after.  He really didn't feel great and as much as he didn't want it to show you could see it.  He has been so strong and has had an amazing spirit about everything he is going through.  He has definitely been a great example to me and our kids.

Moving

Monday January 10th

Well its felt like its been a while since my last entry, but as most have you know we have moved.  It has been quit a crazy month with the move and trying to get everything back on track.  Now that we are some what settled for the time being I can finally get caught back up in the blog.

We are so grateful to everyone who helped with this move.  It was a crazy week with Cody having treatment right in the middle of the week.  The kids have been such great sports with the whole thing. They were able to be right in the middle of it all. they were some of my biggest packers and cleaners.

I have to say I hate moving! I have decided that the next time we move we are selling the house as is. Hopefully our next location we move to can be more long term.  this moving every 3 years is for the birds.

The last night we were in the house the kids begged us to have a sleepover with their cousins. The house at this point is completely empty. We left just a few pillows and blankets with our T.V so they could watch movies.  They thought that was the best night ever.  They could run and be as crazy as they wanted and didn't have to worry about braking a thing.
